Ayatullah Haj Shaykh Isma`eel Salihi Mazandarani
One of the eminent Faqihs in the Hawzah of Qom. He is now teaching the advanced stage of Fiqh.

He was born in 1933 in one of the villages of Qa'im Sharh. His father, the late Mulla Rahmatullah, was one of the eminent and reliable scholars of that region. At the age of five he entered the Sadr school in the province of Babul. After learning the Holy Quran and some religious and history books, he learned etymology and logic. Upon finishing that he travelled to Qom, where he took up residence in Madrasah Fayziyyah for 9 months
At the beginning of the year of 1954 he travelled to Mashhad and it is there that he learned the advanced texts of the higher stage and some other texts of Kharij in Usool under well-known scholars in the Hawzah of Mashhad. There he sat under scholars such as Ayatullah Haj Shaykh Hashim Qazwini.
In 1960 Shaykh Mazandarani returned again to Qom, where he benefitted from great scholars such as Haj Husayn Boroujerdi, Imam Khumayni, Haj Mirza Hashim Amuli, Sayyid Muhammad Reza Gulpaygani, Haj Sayyid Muhammad Muhaqqiq Damad, and Haj Sayyid Muhammad Husayn Tabataba'i.
Since 1973 Shaykh Isma`il Salehi Mazandarani has been teaching the Sutouh stage. Presently he is teaching the Kahrij stage in Fiqh and Usool in the Hawzah of Qom.
